Pet-i-ket Rates

Introductions

To assess wether your dog will fit into this environment, all dogs that wish to join our social environment must be assessed by one of our certified behaviourists. 
Introductions are by appointment, include an admin fee to create an account on our system. – R150

Daycare

PAY AS YOU PLAY
– R115 per dog for a full day
– R95 per dog for a half day (6 hours or less)
– R145 per dog for Saturdays (Flat Rate by booking 7AM to 5PM)
 
* PACKAGES AVAILABLE TO REGULAR STUDENTS
– The Monday To Friday Dog: R530 per dog per week (rate = R106 per day)
– 3 X Lucky Dog: R330 per dog per week (rate = R110 per day)
 
REHAB WORK
* Subject to assessment recommendation (see consult/assessment pricing below)
– R110 in addition to regular daycare rate.

 

Boarding

Once-off booking fee (to recoup our loss or revenue in daycare hours and associated admin costs) – R140
– R180 per night, out of season (We only charge per night, daycare is included)
– R200 per dog in Peak Seasons (1 December – 15 January, the Easter period and the mid-year school holiday period) 
* Please note that a 50% deposit is required for ALL boarding periods.
* As a general rule (much like you would experience at a hotel), we do not issue credits or refunds for a shortened stay with us. Once your pet has been booked in, the cost is applied in full.
* In peak season (1 December – 16 January) & (Easter period)& (mid -year school holiday) we cannot reserve a spot for your dog until the deposit has been paid. This deposit is refundable only if you cancel the reservation 14 days or more in advance of your dog’s stay; otherwise, 100% is forfeited.
 
** Long term boarding (longer than a month) billed in advance – R4200 per month

Behaviour Consults

Assessments and introductions take place by appointment between 12pm – 2pm on weekdays or on Saturdays by special arrangement.
 
– R380 for assessments done at Pet-i-ket.
– R750 for consult done at Pet-i-ket.
– R850 for Sunday consult at Pet-i-ket.
– R1080 for consult done at home (if in the area)
– R1000 + fuel costs for consult done at home (if NOT in the area)

** Our private training and extra-mural activities work on an appointment basis to ensure that every dog receives the correct level of stimulation and allowing our trainers to schedule their time effectively. We have noticed a trend of no-shows and late arrivals without prior notice. This impacts the activities thereafter as well as the trainers ability to manage their income. We have therefore implemented a no-show fee to those who do not give us at least 24 hours prior notice.

** Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance as well as no-shows will be billed at the full rate.

AD-HOC CHARGES

– Birthday party *Mon, Tues & Fri by booking in advance!* R270 (Snacks to be provided by birthday dog)
– Rehab work during daycare added to daycare cost R110
– Wash & go baths R180
– Administer medication R10
– Wash or treat existing wounds/injuries/aliments R20
– Portioning meals an additional cost of R10 per day.
– Should your dog run out of food during the stay we will gladly go and purchase it from our nearest vet/vet shop/supermarket at an additional fee to cover our petrol plus time costs R120 PLUS the cost of the food.
